Hello ! My name is Hiromi Matsumura and I was born and grew up in Nozawa Onsen village, Nagano prefecture. After many years travelling the world and working in roles in domestic and foreign trade in the fashion industry , I have returned to Nozawa Onsen village and looking after my family lodge there.  I am also sharing 13 years’ of Yoga life I have experienced in both Japan and overseas. My love of ‘outdoor yoga’ brings yoga together with an appreciation of being surrounded by nature and

the beauty of the earth where my soul leads and connects to it. 

I want to share this with you.

 

After ten years of yoga practice, I deepened my theoretical understanding and learning of anatomical physiology and became a certified international Yoga instructor in 2015.

I have created a ‘Live the Seasons’ yoga retreat environment that combines with Onsen, local natural healing spring water from our mother earth.    We will practice yoga in the beautiful scenery of surrounding mountains and enjoy fresh local food prepared with a unique cooking method using Onsen water.

 

Nozawa Onsen village has a friendly environment and is perfectly placed for connecting your senses and ‘living the seasons’ in nature appreciating all its many benefits. Each season in Nozawa Onsen village has its special gifts to enjoy and experience. Whether it be the new growth and life in Spring , the cool mountain streams of Summer, the golden shower of leaves in Autumn after the soft powder snow of Winter, there is something in each season for everyone.

 

As a local Japanese fellow yogini, it will be my pleasure to share and organize a magical retreat for you in Nozawa Onsen in all the different faces and colours of the seasons.

I am passionate about sharing both my love of yoga and of my village to all who visit in this new and unique world yoga destination.
